English as a Second Language (ESL)

These are FREE English classes for non-native speakers. Lessons include skill-building in reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and pronunciation. Students learn English skills needed to obtain and maintain jobs, to participate in community activities and to use community resources.

English classes are offered morning, afternoon, and evening. Class levels range from Beginning/Low to Advanced, based on assessments of students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Sessions include group and individual, textbook and computer work. Textbooks and materials are provided.

ESL/Citizenship

These are FREE classes for adults who are permanent residents and wish to become U.S. citizens. Students prepare for their citizenship interview through listening, speaking, reading and writing English practice. Students learn about the history and functions of the U.S. government, the rights and responsibilities of citizenship, and the various stages of the naturalization process.
